Now Open: Intro to Tech Careers in the Agri-Food Sector Training Program Applications

SECC’s Career Hub is excited to share that applications are now open for our Intro to Tech Careers in the Agri-Food Sector training program. This innovative 8-week program is designed to equip individuals with the skills and industry knowledge needed to succeed and grow within the agri-food sector.

Co-developed with industry leaders, the program includes five weeks of in-class instruction followed by a three-week work-integrated placement with a local employer. Training topics include:

• Automation and AI in agri-food
• Quality control and food safety regulations
• Greenhouse automation and management
• Electrical safety and food processing equipment
• Workplace readiness and industry engagement

Participants also benefit from industry tours and guest speakers who bring real-world experience and insight into the classroom.

Their next cohort begins September 29, and spaces are limited.
